Color Resources has long been known for its attention to solid waste minimization and destruction of solid waste streams. Metal, plastic and cardboard have individual recycle areas in the plant. These items are collected, rinsed, crushed and bailed for collection by an outside recycle center. Process tanks are rinsed with water and collected for reuse. Many tanks are dedicated to same type or similar types of products.
