Wash water from the process tanks and floor is collected and monitored for color content, pH, and volume. This water is collected in several dedicated tanks that are in a portion of the plant that we call Wastewater. This wash water has a very low solids level, normally less than 0.01% and is sent to our local Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW).

CRI has invested various resources into research to completely reduce color and solids from our waste stream. CRI has trained employees specifically in wastewater operation.
